Why we don’t call it a “nursing pillow”

The Boppy Original Support should never be used for sleep. Our mission is to keep you feeling comfortable and confident with your decision to choose Boppy for high quality products, expert third party testing and clear messaging. Because many traditional pillows are for sleep, we wanted to move away from this word to be even more clear that you should never let a baby sleep on or near any nursing pillow. Newborns should always be put to sleep on a firm, flat surface free from loose blankets, pillows, stuffed toys, bumpers, and other soft items.

We are changing the name of our #1 most recommended product for the past 30 years from a “nursing pillow” to a “nursing support” to further communicate that your baby should never sleep on this product. Just an added reminder to keep baby safe and use products as intended.

Is a Feeding Support safe for baby to sleep on?

No. Never allow baby to sleep on a feeding support. Boppy feeding supports are created for adult-supervised awake-time only. Check out our Safe Product Use page for additional information.

Additional Warning Information:

- Do not allow baby to lie face down on a feeding support

- To prevent positional asphyxia, keep baby’s airway open at all times.

- Do not use in crib, cradle, bassinet, playpen, play yard. Not for use on a bed.

- Do not leave baby unattended – adult supervision is required.

- Improper use of this product could result in serious injury or death.

how do I clean my boppy product?

Feeding Support Instructions

Bare Naked Insert: Machine wash delicate cycle, 30ºC/85ºF. Tumble dry low on delicate cycle. While drying Bare Naked insert, throw a sneaker or tennis ball (wrapped in a pillow case) in the dryer to help the support keep its shape. Do not iron. Do not dry clean

Slipcover: Machine wash separately, delicate cycle, 30ºC/85ºF. Tumble dry low on delicate cycle. Cool iron as needed. Do not dry clean.

Best Latch Care Instructions

Remove foam insert before machine washing on delicate cycle. If belt is detachable, remove before washing. Machine wash support separately, delicate cycle. 30ºC/85ºF. Do not bleach.

Hybrid Baby Carrier Instructions

Machine wash with mild detergent, delicate/gentle cold, 30°C (65°F - 85°F). Non-chlorine bleach as needed. Tumble dry delicate/gentle, low. Do not iron. Do not dry clean.

how often should i replace my boppy® feeding support?

New baby? It may be time for a new feeding support! Boppy® Feeding Supports are made to last with high quality materials. But over time, the fluff may slowly compact. If your Boppy Feeding Support feels more flat than fluffy, it is time to treat yourself to a new one.

Does the boppy® feeding support contain flame retardants?

We take great care in the quality of our products. The fabric and filling in the Boppy® Feeding Support (and slipcovers) are exempt from California Bureau of Home Furnishings flammability standards and have never contained harmful flame-retardant chemicals.

The Bare Naked® Support insert is filled with virgin polyester fiberfill and is upholstered in fabric that is 90% polyester and 10% cotton. What the Boppy Feeding Support wears on the outside is up to you! It's wardrobe consists of slipcovers made from soft cotton blends, to minky plush or organic cotton.

do you offer a feeding support for twins?

At this time, we don’t offer a Boppy® Feeding Support specifically for twins. The Feeding Support may be used to feed both newborn babies at once in the ‘football hold’ until they outgrow it.

Where are your products made?

The manufacturing process for Boppy® Products begins in China.

In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint Boppy products are fulfilled, packaged and shipped from USA factories.

What is the Boppy Limited Warranty?

At The Boppy Company, our goal is to make your life as a new parent or parent-to-be more comfortable. We make innovative, superior products for parents and babies.

We warrant that all Boppy® products, except for Boppy® Healthcare products, will be free from material defects, damage caused by improper care prior to the time of purchase, and workmanship defects for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear or damage from misuse, abuse, improper storage and handling, failure to follow the instructions on installation, accident, unauthorized repair, or alteration. On this page, “Boppy® Products” means all covered products (i.e., all Boppy® products except for Boppy® Healthcare products).

If your Boppy® Product is defective and is eligible for this limited warranty, we will repair or replace your product at our discretion. Please read our full Boppy Limited Warranty.

what should i do if my boppy product gets damaged in the washing machine?

Please make sure to follow the care instructions provided on the Boppy product tag or from the Boppy Product Care Hub. If your Boppy® Product is defective and is eligible for this limited warranty, we will repair or replace your product at our discretion. Please contact info@boppy.com for additional information.

How do I change or cancel my order on boppy.com?

If you order has not shipped yet, you can call 1-888-903-001 or email boppyweborders@stitchco.com to change or cancel your order. Once an order placed on boppy.com has shipped, no changes or cancellations can be made.

You can however, return the item once you have received it. For more information regarding returns click here.

What is your return and exchange policy?

Products eligible for return are accepted up to 30 days from the date of purchase on boppy.com unless otherwise noted. We do not accept returns from purchases made at other retailers. The Boppy Company, LLC accepts returns on non-sale merchandise that is unused and unopened or items that have been found to be defective. Shipping charges are non-refundable. The Boppy Company, LLC is not responsible for lost returns. All returns are subject to the discretion of The Boppy Company, LLC.

Only gift orders from boppy.com may be exchanged. Exchanges are valid for unused and unopened items or those that have been found to be defective for up to 30 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise noted. Exchanges are for like items/ like price only. Shipping charges are non-refundable. The Boppy Company, LLC is not responsible for lost returns. All exchanges are subject to the discretion of The Boppy Company, LLC.

If your product is defective and it was purchased over 30 days ago (but is less than one-year old), please refer to our one-year Boppy Limited Warranty for replacement.

Do you sell Boppy Healthcare Products Directly to hospitals?

Shipping questions

where do you ship?

We currently only ship to the United States, including Alaska and Hawaii. We do not ship internationally at this time. We do not ship to APO, FPO or PO Boxes.

How much is shipping?

We are pleased to offer flat rate shipping for $8.00. All flat rate orders are shipped via UPS Ground.

Expedited shipping services are offered via UPS 2-Day Shipping, and pricing is dependent upon the total dimensional weight of your order.

Orders over $55.00 ship for free!

can i pick up my order from the office in Golden, colorado?

No. This is our corporate office and orders are not shipped or processed here. You can pick up Boppy products at your local Target, buybuyBaby, or Walmart.

where can I purchase boppy products if I live in Canada?

Boppy products can be found at multiple locations such as Pottery Barn Kids CA, Buy Buy Baby CA, and Amazon.ca.

Boppy.com does not ship internationally.

what can i do if i have not yet received my order?

A shipping confirmation email with tracking information was sent to you when the order shipped. If you completed checkout with a phone number instead of email, the tracking information was texted to you.

Use your tracking # to track your shipment on UPS.

If you do not receive the tracking email, please check your spam and junk folders in your email. Your order should arrive 5-8 days after being placed. If it has been longer than 8 days and you have not received your order, please contact info@boppy.com.

Please note if you ordered a Custom Boppy Feeding Support, your order will take an additional 5-7 business days to ship.
