Ecommerce Marketing Manager

Salary Range: $53,000 - $72,000


The Ecommerce Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing and sales strategies for Boppy.com that grows the Ecommerce Direct-to-Consumer business. This person will lead strategy and optimization of Boppy.com and email marketing. The Ecommerce Marketing Manager is responsible for the look, functionality and sales on Boppy.com, email marketing, consumer events, the Momkind Project (Boppy’s CSR program), and product reviews and syndication. This role reports to the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager.


You must be a strategic team player, comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and able to work overtime with little advance notice when necessary. You will lead special projects as assigned.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Maintain Boppy.com and ensure correct products, communication, functionality and compliancy for all device types.
  • Own sales forecasting and margin trafficking for Boppy.com and work with Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to ensure correct inventory is allocated based on demand and velocity.
  • Partner with Sr. Marketing Communications Manager on setting annual project roadmap to achieve growth goals and deliver a best-in-class online shopping experience across marketing, merchandising, and operations that meets or exceeds annual sales goals.
  • Build and manage various email campaigns (lead generation, lifecycle, retention) including template design, call-to-action, content strategy and performance analysis.
  • Lead A/B testing, performance optimization and email campaign enhancement efforts.
  • Manage The Momkind Project partnerships, initiatives and events.
  • Plan and execute consumer shows (digital and in-person).
  • Produce, analyze, and deliver reporting on digital marketing KPIs.
Qualifications & Skills
  • BA/BS degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of business experience in e-commerce and a proven track record in leading/growing web sales.
  • Sales forecasting and margin trafficking.
  • 3+ years of experience using Shopify preferred.
  • Experience with managing and optimizing online marketing tactics and CRM with an emphasis on efficient spending to generate high ROI.
  • Experience using web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
  • Knowledge of SEO and SEM strategy.
  • Excellent writing skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Analytic and technical mind, with a creative eye.

Inventory Analyst

Salary Range: $53,000 - $72,000 (plus benefits)


The Inventory Analyst will be a critical part of the Operational Team.  The Inventory Analyst will manage and maintain Boppy’s current inventory operation. S/he will be responsible in reviewing and reconciling all raw materials between systems to minimize inventory discrepancies and unforeseen out of stock risks. This role will be responsible for creating and managing item numbers and UPC set up, and ensuring that accurate labor rates and wholesale pricing are determined. S/he will also manage order processing for Boppy ecommerce, Specialty, International, National and Military accounts. The Inventory Analyst will work cross functionally between departments and with Boppy’s warehouse management team. This role will be a vital in researching and suggesting improvements to the company’s inventory control system.

In this hands-on role, responsibilities include:

  • Inventory Management
    • Research, maintain and improve the company's inventory operation
    • Review and reconcile inventory on a daily basis
    • Manage annual inventory audit
    • Make inventory adjustments and corrections
    • Direct our warehouse on reallocating inventory and miscellaneous projects
    • Manage bedding licenses
    • Reconcile monthly unit and gross sales
    • Offer support to the Demand Planning and Logistics Manager
  • SKU Management
    • Create item numbers for raw materials and finished goods
    • Assign UPCs to finished goods
    • Submit items in GDSN and Intertrade systems
    • Manage and create BOMs for all SKUs
    • Maintain and update labor rates
    • Manage wholesale pricing and discounts at SKU and customer level
    • Provide costing for existing items
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Manage orders for Boppy ecommerce, Specialty, Healthcare, National and Military accounts
    • Compare and reconcile pricing between EDI and SAP
    • Manage Vendor Guides for specific accounts
    • Process LTL quotes for shipments
    • Operations lead of Boppy’s ecommerce
    • Back up Operations Manager when/as needed

 

Qualifications & Skills
  • 2-5 years of inventory and/or operations experience
  • BS/BA degree; or related inventory experience
  • Ability to interface well with cross-functional teams and senior management
  • Significant ERP experience (SAP a plus)
  • In-depth PC competency in Microsoft Excel: pivot tables, lookup functions, comfortable with formulas, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with an ability to multitask
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Strong self-motivation
  • Consumer products experience is beneficial

Temporary Project Manager

40 hours/week ~ 16 weeks

Salary: $28 - $38/hour based on experience, plus benefits (equates to $60,000 - $78,400 annually)

Overview

The Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. The Boppy Company project manager is a leader who is responsible for making decisions, both large and small. This position is accountable for the success or failure of a project. The PM will prioritize, organize and manage the flow of small and large-scale projects, ensuring internal departments’ needs are being met in the most efficient way. The PM will liaise between internal departments and management while working especially closely with the creative and supply chain teams to ensure adequate time and resource management to meet deadlines. This position reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities

Typical responsibilities of a project manager include: Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects — defining the project, building its comprehensive work plan and managing to deadlines. This position assigns and manage all aspects of projects and their timelines. This role works across the organization by proactively managing projects including, but not limited to: new product development, product portfolio changes, line reviews and costing. Creating and maintaining timelines and monitoring resource allocations is of critical importance. With clear and consistent communication, you will raise awareness of issues, risks and trouble-shoot problems while communicating day-to-day status. Preparing and presenting progress regular and ad hoc reports to ensure projects are meeting outlined objectives will be an effective way to communicate to the team.

Qualifications

  • Project Management certification and / or 5 years’ experience in consumer products’ project management
  • Demonstrated success as Project Manager
