Is a Boppy® Pillow safe for baby to sleep on?

No. Never allow baby to sleep on a Boppy® Pillow. Boppy products are created for adult-supervised awake-time only. Check out our Safe Product Use page for additional information.

Additional Warning Information:

  • Do not allow baby to lie face down on a Boppy® Pillow.
  • To prevent positional asphyxia, keep baby’s airway open at all times.
  • For proper breathing when using the pillow for propping, do not allow baby to be curled up in the center of the pillow area or be propped up too high on the pillow.
  • Do not use in crib, cradle, bassinet, playpen, play yard. Not for use on a bed,
  • Do not leave baby unattended – adult supervision is required. Improper use of this product could result in serious injury or death.

Can I let my baby sleep on the Boppy Newborn Lounger?

No. Never allow baby to sleep on a Boppy® Newborn Lounger. Boppy products are created for adult-supervised awake-time only. Check out our Safe Product Use page for additional information.

The reason we stress the importance of this is to prevent positional asphyxia. This will help keep baby’s airway open at all times.

  • ALWAYS keep baby’s airway open at all times.
  • DO NOT allow baby to be curled up in the center of the newborn lounger.
  • DO NOT prop baby too high or too low on the newborn lounger.
  • DO NOT use in crib, cradle, bassinet, playpen, play yard or near an area where baby may sleep.

The Boppy Company strictly adheres to the guidelines set forth by The National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, the CPSC and several other organizations regarding these safe sleep points:

  • Do not use in crib, cradle, bassinet, playpen, play yard or bed. Do not leave baby unattended – adult supervision is required. Improper use of this product could result in serious injury or death. Check out our Safe Sleep page under Product Info for more information.

How do I clean my Boppy® Product?

Most Boppy products are machine washable and dryable.

Boppy Pillow Care Instructions
Pillow: Machine wash delicate cycle, 30ºC/85ºF. Tumble dry low on delicate cycle. While drying pillow, throw a sneaker or tennis ball (wrapped in a pillow case) in the dryer to help the pillow keep its shape. Do not iron. Do not dry clean

Slipcover: Machine wash separately, delicate cycle, 30ºC/85ºF. Tumble dry low on delicate cycle. Cool iron as needed. Do not dry clean.

Boppy Newborn Lounger Care Instructions
For best results using front load washing machines use Hand Wash cycle, 30°C/85°F. For top load, machine wash, delicate cycle, 30°C/85°F. Tumble dry low on delicate cycle. While drying pillow, throw a sneaker or tennis ball (wrapped in a pillowcase) in the dryer to help the pillow keep its shape.” Do not iron. Do not dry clean. For quick clean up, may be wiped clean.

Boppy Best Latch Care Instructions
Remove foam insert before machine washing on delicate cycle. If belt is detachable, remove before washing. Machine wash pillow separately, delicate cycle. 30ºC/85ºF. Do not bleach. Tumble dry low. While drying pillow, throw a sneaker or tennis ball (wrapped in a pillow case) in the dryer to help the pillow keep its shape. Do not iron. Do not dry clean. Foam insert is wipeable.

Where do you ship?

We currently only ship to the 48 contiguous states. We do not ship internationally at this time. We do not ship to APO, FPO or PO Boxes.

Boppy.com does not ship internationally.

Does the Boppy® Feeding and Infant Support pillow contain flame retardants?

We take great care in the quality of our products. The fabric and filling in the Boppy® Feeding and Infant Support pillow (and slipcovers for those pillows) are exempt from California Bureau of Home Furnishings flammability standards and have never contained harmful flame-retardant chemicals.

The Boppy® Pillow is filled with virgin polyester fiberfill and is upholstered infabric that is 90% polyester and 10% cotton. What the Boppy Pillow wears on the outside is up to you! Its wardrobe consists of slipcovers made from soft cotton blends, to minky plush or organic cotton.

Do you have a Boppy® Twins Pillow?

At this time, we don’t offer a Boppy® Feeding and Infant Support Pillow specifically for twins. The Boppy® Pillow may be used to feed both newborn babies at once in the ‘football hold’ until they outgrow it. In addition, the Boppy® Pillow provides versatility beyond nursing and feeding. The pillow can be used for feeding, propping, tummy time and sitting.

Parents of multiples love the Boppy Newborn Lounger because it provides baby a safe place to lounge.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is dependent upon the total dimensional weight of your order. All orders are shipped via UPS Ground.

How do I change or cancel my order on boppy.com?

If you order has not shipped yet, you can call 1-888-903-0051 or email boppyweborders@stitchco.com to change or cancel your order. Once an order placed on boppy.com has shipped, no changes or cancellations can be made. You can however, return the item once you have received it. For more information regarding returns click here

Can I pick up my order from the office in Golden, CO?

No. This is our corporate office and orders are not shipped or processed here. You can pick up Boppy products at your local Target, Walmart or buybuyBaby.

What can I do if I have not yet received my order?

A shipping confirmation email with tracking information was sent to you when the order shipped. Use your tracking # to track your shipment. If you do not receive this email, please check your spam and junk folders in your email. Your order should arrive 5-8 days after being placed. If it has been longer than 8 days and you have not received your order, please contact info@boppy.com.

Please note if you ordered a Custom Boppy Pillow your order will take an additional 5-7 business days to ship.

Where are your products made?

The manufacturing process for Boppy® Products begins in China. In an effort to reduce our carbon footprint Boppy products are fulfilled, packaged and shipped from USA factories.

What is your return and exchange policy?

Products eligible for return are accepted up to 30 days from the date of purchase on boppy.com unless otherwise noted. We do not accept returns from purchases made at other retailers. The Boppy Company, LLC accepts returns on non-sale merchandise that is unused and unopened or items that have been found to be defective. Shipping charges are non-refundable. The Boppy Company, LLC is not responsible for lost returns. All returns are subject to the discretion of The Boppy Company, LLC.

For any product purchased at Boppy.com, please follow instructions and fill out the attached form.

Only gift orders from boppy.com may be exchanged. Exchanges are valid for unused and unopened items or those that have been found to be defective for up to 30 days from the date of purchase, unless otherwise noted. Exchanges are for like items/ like price only. Shipping charges are non-refundable. The Boppy Company, LLC is not responsible for lost returns. All exchanges are subject to the discretion of The Boppy Company, LLC.

If your product is defective and it was purchased over 30 days ago (but is less than one-year old), please refer to our one-year Boppy Limited Warranty for replacement.

What is the Boppy Limited Warranty?

At The Boppy Company, our goal is to make your life as a new parent or parent-to-be more comfortable. We make innovative, superior products for parents and babies.

We warrant that all Boppy® products, except for Boppy® Healthcare products, will be free from material defects, damage caused by improper care prior to the time of purchase, and workmanship defects for one year from the date of purchase. This warranty does not cover normal wear or damage from misuse, abuse, improper storage and handling, failure to follow the instructions on installation, accident, unauthorized repair, or alteration. On this page, “Boppy® Products” means all covered products (i.e., all Boppy® products except for Boppy® Healthcare products).

If your Boppy® Product is defective and is eligible for this limited warranty, we will repair or replace your product at our discretion. Please read our full Boppy Limited Warranty.

Do you sell the Boppy® Healthcare Pillow directly to hospitals?

No, all our Healthcare products are sold through medical distributors. Please visit Buy Boppy Healthcare for distributor information.

How often should I replace my Boppy® Feeding & Infant Support Pillow?

New baby? It may be time for a new Boppy Pillow! Boppy® Pillows are made to last with high quality materials. But over time, the fluff may slowly compact. If your Boppy Feeding and Infant Support Pillow feels more flat than fluffy, it is time to treat yourself to a new one.

What should I do if my Boppy product gets damaged in the washing machine?

Please make sure to follow the care instructions provided on the Boppy product tag or from the Boppy Care Instructions Page. If your Boppy® Product is defective and is eligible for this limited warranty, we will repair or replace your product at our discretion. Please contact info@boppy.com for additional information.
