Position Description: Temporary Project Manager - 40 hours/week ~ 16 weeks

·      Salary: $28 - $38/hour based on experience, plus health care benefits (equates to $60,000 - $78,400 annually)

·      Anticipated start timing: mid-December

The Project Manager has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of new product development. The Boppy Company project manager is a leader who is responsible for making decisions, both large and small. This position is accountable for the success or failure of a project. The PM will prioritize, organize and manage the flow of small and large-scale projects, ensuring internal departments’ needs are being met in the most efficient way. The PM will liaise between internal departments and management while working especially closely with the creative and supply chain teams to ensure adequate time and resource management to meet deadlines. This position reports to the CEO.

responsibilities

 

Typical responsibilities of a project manager include: Planning, Executing, and Closing Projects — defining the project, building its comprehensive work plan and managing to deadlines. This position assigns and manages all aspects of projects and their timelines. This role works across the organization by proactively managing projects with the main focus on new product development. Creating and maintaining timelines and monitoring resource allocations is of critical importance. With clear and consistent communication, you will raise awareness of issues, risks and trouble-shoot problems while communicating day-to-day status. Preparing and presenting progress regularly and ad hoc reports to ensure projects are meeting outlined objectives will be an effective way to communicate to the team. Responsible for holding team members accountable for due dates within the development process. 

qualifications

·      3+ years' experience in product development preferably in soft goods with advanced understanding of product development processes and procedures   

·      Demonstrated success as Project Manager with preferably 3+ years of experience

·      Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

We have a hybrid office schedule of Tuesdays and Thursdays in the office and Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays work from home, so the ideal candidate will be located local to the Denver area.
