Sales Director or Sales VP (dependent on experience level)

This Sales Leader is responsible for growing the topline revenue, placing new products, expanding distribution, building relationships with customer leadership teams and within the Company.   Proven experience in developing actionable sales strategies is expected.  Negotiating contractual allowances and customer marketing budgets is of critical importance to maintain strong Company profitability.   This person is responsible for managing corporate pricing policies.  Strong Excel skills, including pivot table comfortability, are essential, as our senior team is highly analytical and functions within Excel daily. With the evolution and concentration on digital revenue, omni-channel experience is a must.  This position leads a team of four seasoned and talented account managers.  As lines between sales, marketing, physical retail and eCommerce continue to evolve, developing a partnership with the Marketing Vice President and her team to profitably grow revenue while leveraging the talent of the Sales team is vital.   As part of the Management team, this position reports to the CEO.  Domestic and international travel is required.


  • Lead selling activities to maximize sales and margin growth and the achievement of planned sales targets.
  • Manage senior sales account managers and select key accounts to achieve and exceed key business objectives.
  • Establish monthly, quarterly, and annual budget by customer achieving sales and margin growth.
  • Manage the selling team’s SG&A budget for planned travel, key customer meetings, customer allowances and contracts.
  • Track POS performance with key accounts to ensure products and programs are performing as planned.
  • Work closely with VP of Marketing to develop and execute key customer meetings (including presentations, promotions, POP/Display, and packaging).
  • Work closely with CFO on product forecasting and budget management.
  • Develop customer-specific sales strategies.
  • Implementation and development of continuous improvements within the company.
  • Promote the company’s winning culture in all interactions with employees, customers, vendors, etc.
  • Build best-in-class customer relationships.
  • Performs other responsibilities and duties as assigned by his/her superior.


Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 8-12 years of progressive leadership positions in consumer products managing teams and budgets
  • Minimum 5 years selling to Target, Walmart, Amazon and buybuyBaby
  • Proven sales management experience in omni-channel marketing and selling
  • In-depth knowledge and experience with leading category management, data analytics management, consumer and product insights initiatives
  • Full fluency in leading primary research studies and reading, translating and presenting secondary data research
  • Ability to synthesize learning from multiple studies into marketing principles as well as into specific recommendations to retailers
  • High degree of comfort working in a high-pressure, fast-paced and unstructured environment that requires solving complex, open-ended issues with incomplete data and little direction
  • Ability to navigate easily between strategic and tactical objectives
  • High degree of confidence, self-awareness, discretion, diplomacy, accountability, curiosity, and empathy

Amazon Account Manager Temporary Position / Remote

(approximately 5-month maternity leave backfill)

The Amazon Account Manager will support and partner with the Amazon Sr. Account Manager and fill in while she is on maternity leave.  Together you two are the experts responsible for substantial growth in this channel building on the years of success. When the Senior Account Manager is on leave, this individual will manage all things Amazon including but not limited to:  day-to-day operations relating to Amazon Sales with oversight and responsibility for strategy, sales, business insights and data analytics.  You will work with the corporate Marketing team on promotions and paid media. This position reports to the Sr. Account Manager until she is on leave and then the Sales Director.


  • Achieve sales goal.
  • Manage our Amazon Vendor Central based business.
  • Define metrics, measure, and analyze trends to optimize tools and drive growth.
  • Monitor and analyze ASIN performance, rankings, ratings and reviews.
  • Manage new ASIN set up as well as copy, image and video optimization
  • Manage all aspects of Boppy A+ content and Brand store.
  • Partner with corporate Marketing team on content and advertising.
  • Manage and the Company’s MAP efforts on platform.
  • Work collaboratively with Corporate Marketing team leveraging Amazon marketing tools.
  • Work with internal team on sales forecasts.
  • Leverage reporting platforms to internalize and analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for how to best optimize the campaigns.
  • Oversee quarterly media budgets for Amazon search and display and allocate spend across both.

Photography Retoucher (freelance/contract)

This freelance, contract role requires a multi-disciplined retoucher by using photograph editing software to enhance images by correcting resolution and composition, crop image, adjust tone, color, saturation and brightness. Images often need to be color corrected back to the original source.


  • Complete all retouching in a timely manner
  • Color correcting existing digital photographs
  • Photograph a product and place into an existing environment
  • Size digital photographs to meet web needs
  • Place type on the digital image that best suits the layout

Qualifications & Skills

The ideal candidate is a capable and knowledgeable retoucher with at least 2 years of relevant experience and demonstrated success working on consumer products in a fast-paced environment.  Requirements include:

  • Master of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office software
  • Must be organized, proactive, act independently with a sense of urgency
  • Confidence to work as collaborative team member
  • Excellent attention to detail and color to ensure accuracy in content
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality


This role is an independent contractor and will receive a 1099 for tax purposes.  Position reports to CCO.
